We are women and we are capable

This documentary tells the story and struggles of three Haitian women with very different backgrounds. First, there is Jocelyne Pierre Louis, born Madame Sara, now president of an association that brings together all these hardworking women. Then there is Delphine Gardère, from a prominent family of entrepreneurs, who now runs the Barbancourt rum company. Finally, there is Marie Yolaine Philippeau, resolutely involved in politics and mayor of the small municipality of La Vallée de Jacmel. Despite their differences, these women have all faced societal obstacles related to their gender. A film by Richard Sénécal.
