Recently there’s been a surge in rape statistics among youth in Haiti’s urban areas. The practice of gang rape is now a reality. The slang name for one type of gang rape is “train”. The victim is brought by someone she trusts, then she is put on drugs so that she can be the perfect sex object.
This short film was selected to participate at the first short film contest of the Haitian Cinematographers Association. The 2007 theme was “violence targeting women”.
