MasterDji is considered by many as the godfather of the Haitian rap and hip-hop movement nicknamed creole rap. In less than a decade he dominated the artistic scene as an avant-garde artist, a brilliant radio host and an amazing DJ. This forty-minutes program consisting of all his music videos, of testimonials from his good friend and radio co-host Lori Manuel Steed, was aired as a tribute the same week he died from AIDS in May 1994. MasterDji remains one of Haiti’s most influential artist.

    To bad that people with talent die.. :( and to bad that we get to appreciate them, after they die.. Is there any recording with his shows..I mean, I would really like to hear one of his show..

    This should ring the alarm for all of us! AIDS kills and this is no joke. We should do more to prevent this deaths, than spending the time crying our loved ones. Is better to prevent!
